Two-photon microscopy is an in vivo imaging technique that can provide high-resolution, three-dimensional images up to about 1 mm in depth.
Two photons of infrared light are used to excite fluorescently labeled proteins expressed in tissue of transgenic animals.
Two Photon in vivo technology enables the study of:
