More about Dr. Chadwick

As Director of Gladstone’s Genomics Core, Dr. Chadwick oversees state-of-the-art technology to analyze RNA and DNA samples for researchers at the Gladstone Institutes and the UCSF community. The Core’s capabilities include genome sequencing, mutation analysis, identifying transcription factors binding sites and global expression profiling of genes.

Prior to joining Gladstone, Dr. Chadwick supervised genomics facilities at the Paul L Foster School of Medicine at Texas Tech University and the University of California, Irvine Medical School. Dr. Chadwick is a named co-inventor on two U.S. patents and has co-authored many peer-reviewed publications.

Dr. Chadwick earned a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Antioch College in Yellow Springs, Ohio. He earned a master’s degree in chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley and a PhD in pathology/genetics from Ohio State University.
